This limestone stele was dedicated to the famous Queen Cleopatra VII Philopator on 2 July 51 BC by Onnophris. The stele was discovered in Fayoum Oasis and now it's on display in The Louvre, Paris. Surprisingly, to modern eyes, the celebrated Egyptian queen is represented here as a traditional, male sovereign.
Cleopatra's name is on the second line.
